Well I am slowly but surely running out of things in my virtual closet to wear ! Sometimes I am making so many styles and I really try to only wear an outfit in my hair ads once if possible but sometimes I am just either too lazy or just love the outfit too too much :P My favorite designers have been helping keeping me dressed and I hope they continue to do so LOL.. with their FABULOUS stuff but like I said sometimes I get really *crotchfoot and crank out more than they can keep up with !!! haha. As I said before clothing I wear really inspires about 90 percent of the styles I make. I will put something on and kinda just vibe with the outfit as I am making the hair so the proposal I am making here is to help me get some more inspirations !!

What I would need from you : A folder with named "Inspiration - Your name/brand (if applicable)" Inside please include a picture of the outfit and Landmark for where to buy or if you are the one that designed it and are feeling generous you can include the outfit too ( wink wink nudge nudge lol ) and a notecard .. on the notecard I'd like you to write a vision you have for the hair that would go with the outfit, it can be vague or very specific and the name you would like for the hair. If your vision matches up with mine I will create the style you thought up!

In turn: I will wear the outfit in the hair ad, name it after either your first name or last name or if you are the designer of the outfit; your brandname, or the name of the outfit if you wish -- you can also suggest a totally different name for it on your notecard as well) I will also send you an everything pack of the completed hair right after its finished and before it hits the shelves.

Also this really is not me being cheap and lazy ( well sorta.. jk LOL ) but I hope it will be fun and please if you do send me a folder , and your the designer of the outfit -- there is no guarentee that your suggestion will be created , or that your outfit will be worn in an advertisement so pleasy pleasy no hard feelings.. if I don't make it , it just means I havent gotten to it yet or I really REALLY screwed up on your vision :P

Fun with Renderglow

The other day I heard about a cool new feature that makes the light sources around you glow, but finally only got around to trying it out this morning. Its actually very cool , you get to it by going to your client menu >Debug settings>Typing in Renderglow>making it "True". It then makes a kind of soft fuzzy light around anything you have set to full bright and other light sources, I'm using it in the first picture there and not using it in the second.

Exhausted Yet Wired...(Random Thoughts)

So tired but can't sleep , so wound up but with no energy to do anything :P story of my life these days. The picture is of a few of the latest Releases @ GuRLywood. From Left to Right: Hannah, Madison and Aika. The Clothing from Left to right is from Stellar, Stellar and Digital Knickers. Skin from Naughty. Gosh Lexi of Stellar just keeps putting out the cutest stuff over and over. I really like her style, its flirty but not too dirty , its girly but not prissy and its sexy but not slutty... its just the right combo. That little panty set with the bows by Digital Knickers is another lil adorable thing too. I was trying to think of something else I could make or do for my SLRFL team Shoppoholics for a Cure. Currently I just have the Kiosk in the store , the rally hair (hat courtesy of mixers boutique) and the updo "Cherish" I was thinking about auctioning off a GuRL 6 VIP package that would include a GuRL 6 Hair Shopping Spree allowing them to pick one friend and go in and pick out 25 Everything Packs (or all the sets for styles in pre-everything pack hairs) each! Also a Frankenstein Custom Hairdo... Meaning they can come and select bits and pieces from existing styles they like to be pieced together for a Completely new hair : (Example) The bangs from question with the pony tails from bobo, or choosing a non flexi hair and requesting it be made flexi anything goes for that One hairstyle. They would then get a custom fitting of the style if necessary, the hair would be named after them and they would be featured as the model for the hairstyle (that would make them the first person ever, other than myself to pose in a GuRL 6 Hair Ad) They would of course recieve an everything pack of that style and last but not least, they will be given a special punch card allowing them to pick out 2 Free Hairstyles of their choice per month for 1 year. Thats just one idea I have rattling around in my brain but who knows what I will think of it after I sleep LOL Speaking of that ---- time for me to go nite nite !!!

A look back at the Hair of the Month Limiited Editions

As I mentioned recently The hair of the Month Limited Editions have reached the One Year Mark with this Months May Hair Release. I had been thinking about doing something different for a special of the month rather than naming the Hair after months, like maybe months in a different language or something like that but in the end decided to keep it just being named after the month of the releases with a small (2) or 2nd Series Mark. I started the Hair of the month specials before flexi hair was possible, way back when the store was still on Euphoria Island. All of this just making me realize how long GuRL 6 has been in operation. Starting with a small little Mall shop my friend Nevaeh of Sinful Shades gave me in Sleezywood back in September of 2005. As I said manytimes that lil mall stall turned into her knocking down walls to give me 2 spaces, then 3 , then 4, then it was look beyotch you just need to make a dang store across the way lol. Then a little modest store, turning into a larger store with help of Cory and Mak. It wasnt so long before I had outgrown that and moved to a plot on the Ginny Sim where I took my store they made for me and kind of did a limosene chop job on it placing 2 of them out and connecting them:P Eventually that was not enough room so we went to Euphoria Island where I had that open air beachy themed sprawling hair city. We never thought we'd cave and get an Island but finally only a sim could hold all the crap I was making. Its been a great couple years and I still enjoy playing with prims as much as I ever have. I'm constantly learning and trying to learn even more so that hopefully I get better with time. HOPEFULLY lol. I was telling Sasy the other day that GuRLywood is currently like a Hair Musem of everything Ive ever made. The first stuff I made is still out there along with the new stuff and I know that eventually (and soon) I will need to quit being such a packrat ... I kind of have already started with the Clearance rack, I've already discontinued at least 10 styles which is a huge step for me trust that lol... I'd like to say I will go back and upgrade everything to the newest textures and also making things flex where possible and rebulding them up the techniques ive learned over time but... have you seen that place?? LOL.. it would take forever to do that especially since I am still so inspired to make new things. I've asked the update group, and some friends and well anyone that wants to let me know of some of their favorite oldies but goodies they'd like to see get revamped and I'm putting them on a list to try to get to little by little as much as I can. I want so much to thank everyone that has been so supportive of my efforts from my partner to my friends, to my fellow hair-makers to the most appreciated customers that grace my store with a visit. Anyways thats all for now just thought I'd share that :P
